Fentanyl Test Strip Instructions
Intended Use of Fentanyl Strips
The Rapid Response™ Fentanyl Test Strip (for liquids and powders) is a fast-acting visual immunoassay designed for the qualitative, presumptive identification of fentanyl in potentially contaminated substances at the specified cut-off concentration. It gives a simple positive or negative result based on a set detection limit.
This test is intended for laboratories, clinics, law enforcement agencies, associations working to reduce the risks associated with drug use, as well as anyone seeking to identify an unknown, suspicious or possibly harmful substance.

説明書
正確な結果を確保し、一般的な問題を防ぐために、指示に注意深く従ってください。表示されるすべての警告と通知を読み、必要に応じて注意してください。
*Before starting, make sure the water and sample are brought to room temperature between 15-30°C (59-86°F). Do not use cold or hot water.

ステップ1
Mix your sample thoroughly before testing. Dilute the sample to be tested in water. One scoop (5-10mg) of sample should be diluted in 5mL of water. *Use a plastic water bottle cap for the best amount of water to be used to dilute your sample. Fill it to the top of the cap.
ステップ2
Remove the test strip from its sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. For best results, the test should be performed within one hour of opening the package.
ステップ3
Hold the strip by the end, where the product name (FYL) is printed. To avoid contamination, do not touch the strip membrane (the white section of the strip).
ステップ4
Holding the strip vertically, dip the test strip in the liquid for at least 10-15 seconds. Immerse the strip where the wavy lines are, but not above the solid (maximum) line on the test strip.
ステップ5
Remove the strip from the sample and place it on a non-absorbent flat surface. Start the timer and wait for the colored line(s) to appear.
ステップ6
A negative result can be interpreted as soon as both the test (T) and control (C) lines appear. A result can be interpreted as positive when 60 seconds have passed since the control line has appeared and no line for that drug is present. Do not read results after 10 minutes.

保管に関する推奨事項
- The kit should be stored at 2-30°C (36-86°F) until the expiry date printed on the sealed pouch.
- Do not use the test after the expiration date indicated on the package.
- Do not use the test if its foil pouch is damaged, and do not reuse tests.
- Humidity and temperature can adversely affect results.
- The used testing materials should be discarded in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations.
- The Rapid Response™ Fentanyl Test Strip has been tested for extreme shipping conditions and its performance has not been impacted.
Limitations of Test
- Technical or procedural errors, as well as other substances and factors, may interfere with the test and cause false results.
- A positive result only indicates the presence of fentanyl, not the amount present.
- A negative result does not rule out fentanyl; the substance may be present below the detection level.
- This test may not distinguish between fentanyl and other illicit substances.
- The test does not differentiate between different fentanyl analogues or certain medications.
- Other compounds found in illicit drugs may cross-react with the test device. Cross-reactivity with emerging fentanyl analogs (such as U-47700, cyclopentyl fentanyl) has yet to be determined.
- This test is a preliminary screening tool. A more specific confirmatory test (e.g., GC/MS) is needed for definitive results.
- A negative result does not mean a sample is drug-free; the drug may be present but below the cut-off level.
- The test does not determine the purity, composition, or safety of the substance.
- A positive or negative result does not indicate whether the tested substance is safe to use. Factors such as mixtures of multiple substances, solubility, and pH can affect the results.
免責事項
- The test is for forensic use only and should only be used for the qualitative detection of fentanyl.
